Soho is a salon styled friendly neighbourhood bar by the side of busy Huay Kaew Road where patrons huddle by the bar catching up on news and gossip or lounge on comfortable sofas and discuss issues from politics to religion, current affairs to philosophy. Though the clientele is predominantly gay, Soho's fans are from all walks of life and sexual orientations. Decent prices for drinks which run the gamut from well selected house wines to spirits and beers, and a cosy vibe with private corners for intimate conversations, has made this newly revamped (and under new ownership) bar an instant success. Food can be ordered from Lemontree next door, so stop by, meet some interesting new people and while the evening away with fine conversation, fine wines and at an even finer price.

Soho Bar has a great location on Huay Kaew Road directly opposite the Chiang Mai Orchid Hotel. Whilst Soho Bar has been in existence for several years, the new owner Shauna has brought a much welcomed breath of fresh air to Soho which is now one of the most popular gay bars in the city.
The decor of Soho Bar is sophisticated and rather classy but quietly stated and the lounge area has very comfortable seating. There is also a small garden area by the street and the bar itself has a full range of wines & spirits. Food can be ordered from The Lemon Tree ( until 9:30pm)
The atmosphere of Soho Bar is relaxing and friendly, ideal for a quiet drink or meeting up with friends. If you should find that you've had a little bit too much fun then Soho Bar has 3 rooms available upstairs for rent.
